INTERLUDE RESTAURANT @ TTDI, KUALA LUMPUR (NON HALAL)

Interlude International Tapas Bar the first of its kind in Klang Valley bringing a unique dining experience to Malaysians. Everything on the menu has been carefully selected to showcase the use of local ingredients and they only use imported products where necessary. Foods are cooked to order and with the menu being on the smaller side to ensures that fresh produce will be served that does not originate from the freezer nor makes a pit stop in the microwave.
The owner Chef Rabin believe in serving quality foods at reasonable price. Together with Chef Loges, they put in lots of hard work and dedication in serving the best dishes.

Grilled chicken breast with mash and chicken jus.
The chicken breast is confit traditionally with low heat so the breast are juicy and tender. Honestly, I never like chicken breast but the chicken breast here just got me hooked. Served with sauce made from scratch with chicken jus and thyme are indeed flavourful. Instead of milk, they used heavy cream and butter for their  mashed potatoes for that rich taste.

Crispy Pork Belly with Kill Kenny Glaze
Baked twice for the crispy skin with Kilkenny glazed on top truly bring the flavour to top notch. Served with homemade pickle cabbage.

BBQ Pork Ribs with Guinness BBQ Sauce
Braised with cinnamon, five spice and pork stock for two and a half hours, you are in for a finger licking good ribs. Glazed with homemade BBQ sauce and Guiness for a bold and wonderful flavour.

 Pork Burger
Homemade thick pork patty with melted cheese on top is screaming for me! Hehe... Most importantly, it's not overly salty at all compare to the usual burger joints.

Citrus Chicken Salad
Served with lemon juice and mustard for an appetizing salad. I find myself digging into the chicken breast though! 😅

Baked Snapper in Tom Yum Broth
Baked John snapper fish served with rice infused with Tom Yam and miso broth. A tad salty with acceptable spicyness.

Carrot Parpadelle – RM16.00
Sliced carrot infused with orange juice for the zesty flavour. Toasted with salt, butter and cumin served with oregano and mint leaves. I don't really fancy this because of the strong cumin taste.

17 hours Slow Cooked Pork Belly – RM35.00
Star of the night! Must try!!!
Sous-vide method of cooking in which food is sealed in airtight plastic bags then placed in a temperature-controlled steam environment for longer than normal cooking times.
Green sauce made of taragon, gherkin and chicken stock, complement the fork tender pork very well.

Nantua of Spaghetti with a Selection of Seafood – RM30.00

Yes, it's pasta! Can you spot the spaghetti beneath all the seafoods?

Generous fresh prawns, squid and mussel, al dente spaghetti in prawn bisque.

Rainbow shots.

Assorted cocktails mixture price starts from RM22.

Cheers.....

Thanks to Foodink and Interlude for having me.
