Are you in for a spicy, fiery treat? Cafe 9 located along Jalan 17/45, Petaling Jaya serve authentic Thai dishes. Why the number 9? Well, the cafe is established by 9 family members. 9 in Chinese also means 'forever'. Cafe 9 hopes to serve their customer the best forever, as customer satisfaction is the top priority here. Numbers also easier to remember compared to names. So think of 9? Think of Cafe 9! :D

The portion served here is generous too, comparing to the usual Thai restaurant. All prices quoted are nett, without service tax or GST.

Regular for 2-4 pax, Large for 5-8 pax
Served with generous fresh prawn in a hot fiery sourish soup. You could opt for your preferred spicyness level as the original might just sent you flying high with only a sip.

I would love to try clear soup next. Yum...

 

Thai Pomelo Salad – RM20.90
A sweet & juicy Thai pomelo mix salad served with prawns.
Famous Thai salad! Fresh salad with pomelo bits, is a great combination to start a meal.

 

New Zealand Oxtail Soup – RM25.90
Served with New Zealand Ox-Tail (sup ekor New Zealand)
A warm hearty rich and delicious soup.  

Green Curry Chicken – RM18.90

Fragrant and creamy Thai curry.

 

Panaeng Curry Chicken – RM18.90
Served with less sauce but packs a powerful flavor and can be tuned to be an ultimate spicy curry.
Full of spices flavour.

Thai Style Fried Chicken Wings – RM16.90

Boneless chicken stuffed with generous fillings. Pleasures in every bite, you must try!

 

Thai Prawn Cakes (House Special) – RM18.90
Must try the signature dish of Cafe 9. So crispy on the outside yet so soft inside. Be prepared to wait though, as it's made fresh upon order.

 
    Dancing Fish:

Small for 4pax – RM44.90

Large for 6-8 pax – RM49.90

-deep fried fish with meat cut to bite size serving in 2 sizes.
Never fancy fried fish! But you should really try the fried fish here. Fried crispy yet still juicy and moist inside. Must try!

Beef Stir Fry – RM22.90

Black Pepper Thai Style
Fragrant tender beef with generous capsicum and onions.

I love how the beans are cut into such small pieces, you will find pleasure biting this crunchy bits. 

Stir Fry Kangkung(Water Spinach) - RM10.90

Spicy and flavourful, though it would be better if the kangkung stem is cut shorter.

Stir Fry mixed Vegetables – RM14.90

Tub Tim Grob – RM6.90

Red ruby water chestnuts with jack fruit in coconut milk.

Top : Authentic Dark Herbal Soup Noodles (Chicken) – RM13

Bottom : Authentic Dark Herbal Soup Noodle (Beef) – RM15

Spicy, 50 years old recipe, served with imported Thai noodles.
