Chicken from their own local butcher, served with garlic mash, herb wine jus and greens.

The usual roasted chicken, nothing to shout about.

THE PREMIUM BEEF BURGER - RM25.80++

Beef patties mixed with chopped gherkins, beef bacon and pepperoni crumble, onion marmalade and sauteed mushrooms.

I love the thick beef patties, the portion can be a little too much for the ladies though.

LAMB SHANK BIRYANI - RM39.80++

Briyani rice, onion raita and chutney.

The chef being generous serve us bigger portion briyani rice. Do note that extra rice could be requested at no extra charges. It may look ordinary, but every spoonful of the rice is so flavourful fragrant of butter and local spices that you'll come back for another helping.

The lamb shank is tasty, however, I would prefer it to be fall-apart tender.

US Potato Culinary Festival Kuala Lumpur 2015

Do you love potato? I love potato! My mom used to make the best french fries out of scratch. Beside tasty, potatoes are full of nutritional values too. US Potato Culinary Festival Kuala Lumpur 2015, held for the second time in Malaysia after a highly successful run two years ago. This bi-annual culinary fest will offer up a month long smorgasbord of dining delights to whet the appetites of both potato aficionados and the spud-curious.

Organized by the US Potato Board, the US Potato Culinary Festival will run from 1 – 30 June 2015 at a total of 13 top dining venues around the KlangValley, each of which will feature a mouthwatering assortment of unique and fusion dishes that elevate the versatility, nutritional benefits and superior taste of quality US potatoes.

This year, the Persatuan Dermatologi Malaysia along with the Malaysian Paediatric Association, supported by Menarini have produced a very helpful guidebook entitled ‘My Eczema Action Plan: Your Step-by-Step Guide to Managing Eczema’. By using two main cartoon characters, young children will learn how to manage their own skin condition. The first cute cartoon boy is named Nezam and the second is a pretty cartoon girl by the name of Claire. Young patients aged five and below would identify well with these cartoons.  

My Eczema Action Plan Guidebook, or MyEAP Guidebook, is written in easy-to-understand English. As the parents or older family members read to the young patients, both the adults and children will learn how to effectively manage eczema. 

The book is organised by topics and this makes it easy for young children to learn and remember each important aspect of eczema care. 

Eczema is a chronic skin condition with frequent flares if not controlled appropriately. Understanding the skin condition will help the child and their parents to manage the condition well thus  reducing the number of flares.
